Is Afterping HIPAA compliant?
Afterping is not a medical record system and does not diagnose. It answers only from the clinic’s approved knowledge base. A privacy note and any required business associate terms are agreed at setup. Do not claim certification.
What counts as an emergency?
Pain, swelling, bleeding, trouble breathing, or any language that sounds urgent. Afterping stops the sales reply, tells the person to contact the clinic’s emergency line or local emergency services, and flags the conversation for the clinic.
Who reads my messages?
The configured system drafts replies from approved answers. A human reviews the playbook in the first 30 days. The clinic can see the queue.
When will a human respond?
Routine questions get an approved reply in under 60 seconds when the channel is connected. Medical questions, pricing gaps, and urgent messages are handed to the clinic and are not answered by guessing.
What if Afterping does not know the price or the question is medical?
